About consignment sales

Consignment sales at GINZA AXIS

We will only accept consignments of watches with an expected selling price of 1 million yen or more.

• The commission fee is a flat 5% of the tax-inclusive price (cash/bank transfer price).
• We have received great praise for our extremely advantageous fee system.

In order to achieve a higher sales price, depending on the condition of the watch, we may repair it before selling it.

• The cost of pre-repairs will be borne by the customer.
• The repair period will be about one month, so sales will begin after that.

We will try to meet your sales price request as much as possible, but we may not be able to accept it if it is far from the market price.

We accept storage for a minimum of one month.

• If you do not request it, the extension will be automatic.
• If the deadline arrives, you can choose to switch to purchasing, lower the price and extend the deadline, or return the item.

We will not extend the consignment period by raising the price of unsold items. In that case, we will return the items to you.

Consignment sales process

• Contact us by phone, email, or by visiting us in person, whichever way you prefer.
• Please let us know as much as you can about the model number, year, whether or not it has accessories, condition, etc.
• We will give you an estimate of the consignment sales price based on the market price on the day.

When the watch arrives

• Once the watch arrives at our store, we will check its condition.
• If you are happy with the quote, sales will begin.
• If you are not satisfied, we will return the item at our expense.
• If repairs are required, sales will begin once the repairs are completed.

Once the sale is completed

Once the sale is completed, we will pay you within 3 business days. You can choose between bank transfer or cash payment.

• We are happy to review the selling price or switch to purchasing at any time. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask us.
• In principle, consigned products will be returned after one month has passed.
