- It was overhauled and polished by Audemars Piguet in May 2024, and the strap is in very good condition, although it shows signs of wear. The equation of time is the equation of time, which shows the difference between mean solar time (the time currently used on a daily basis) and true solar time (the actual movement of the sun). True solar time is about +/- 15 minutes off throughout the year compared to the time currently used. Other features include a perpetual calendar, and a very rare high-end model that integrates an extremely advanced complex mechanism that can also display sunrise and sunset times.
