- The Otsuka Lotec "No.5" was the brand's first production model, released in 2012 by self-taught watchmaker Jiro Katayama. Instead of conventional hands, it shows the time with a regulator-style display using an hour disc at 12 o'clock and a minute disc at 6 o'clock, combined with a central small seconds and a date display. Two ball bearings visible from the front are part of the design, giving it the mechanical look of a measuring instrument. The movement is based on the Miyota automatic Cal.8215, modified by Mr. Katayama to suit the display mechanism. The model name comes from the order of the case designs. It was made until 2022 and became the design origin of the No.5 Kai introduced in 2025. Brand new and unused.
